Freinds and family said good-bye to Mark and Mickie Matter after their small plane crashed in the mountains south of Aniak this past December.  Mark and Mickie loved each other dearly and shared a wonderful life together.  

Mark was the consumate outdoorsman - always hunting, fishing, trapping or mining (sometimes doing several on the same trip).  He traveled extensivley on snow machine or in his cub after wolves, wolverine and marten, and knew the country and animals like few others.    

Both are sorely missed!
