Gibberish, it’s not just for individuals with ADD anymore!

The environmental gibberish just spews forth from Donald Trump’s mouth, and his followers, sadly, still believe it.

His latest nonsense was during his opening remarks at the recent World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, where he called those concerned with the future of mankind “alarmists”, saying that, “this is not a time for pessimism, this is a time for optimism.”

His speechwriter spin doctors were in their full glory; and he relished in it.

Here we go with some excerpts: “This is not a time for pessimism. This is a time for optimism. To embrace the possibilities of tomorrow, we must reject the perennial profits of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse. They are the heirs of yesterday’s foolish fortune tellers.”

Fear and doubt is not a good thought process, because this is a time for tremendous hope and joy and optimism in action. But to embrace the possibilities of tomorrow, we must reject the perennial prophets of doom, and their predictions of the apocalypse.”

And as only he can do, his BS has no bounds claiming that the US has some of “the cleanest air in the world”.  It’s definitely better than China and other countries, but his administration has made the air quality in the U.S. worse.

According to the Environmental Performance Index, a metric from environmental scientists at Yale and Columbia, the U.S. ranks 10th in air quality and 29th in water quality!

This, at a time when his administration (i.e., EPA) is weakening US protections which reversed President Obama’s 2015 Waters of the United States rule.  The Union of Concerned Scientists asserts that this attack contradicts all scientific sound principles.

And if all that isn’t bad enough – there is a ton of gibberish coming from one – if not all – of Trump’s re-election sites – this one attacking the environmental “snowflakes”.  You couldn’t make this shit up – here’s what they say: “We have the cleanest air on record and remain a global leader for access to clean drinking water. President Trump has taken important steps to restore, preserve, and protect our land, air, and waters.”

I hope to hell that enough Americans are wise to this babble come next November, because if he gets re-elected, we’re all in trouble…including us fishes.
